VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) - A self-described white supremacist on probation for terrorizing a community in North Dakota is now part owner of an abandoned church in Barnes County.
KFGO (https://bit.ly/2mbxXxM ) reports a deed filed Tuesday in Barnes County lists Craig Cobb as one of the owners of the former Nome Zion Evangelical Free Church. City leaders have expressed concerns about what will become of the property. Cobb unsuccessfully tried to establish an all-white community in Leith several years ago.
He’s serving four years of probation for terrorizing and menacing residents of Leith. He has told The Associated Press that he thinks he wasn’t treated fairly by the community of Leith. Cobb currently lives in Sherwood.
