PARSIPPANY, N.J. (AP) - Authorities are trying to determine the cause of an apartment fire that claimed the life of a man in Parsippany.

The fire broke out in a second floor unit at the Colonial Heights complex around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

The victim was taken to a hospital. Responders told the Daily Record of Parsippany (https://dailyre.co/2lokhBs ) he was 64 years old. His name has not been released.



The apartment below was not occupied.
