ROSEDALE, Md. (AP) - A fire in a tire shop in Rosedale is sending thick, acrid smoke throughout the Pulaski Highway industrial area.
Baltimore County fire officials say the blaze was reported shortly before noon Wednesday at the All Service Tire store. The department said in a tweet that some 150 firefighters and other personnel were battling the blaze.
Pulaski Highway was shut down in both directions, and traffic officials say it will remain closed through the evening rush hour.
Fire officials say no injuries have been reported.
Osman Rosa, the owner of the store, tells The Baltimore Sun that he doesn’t know how the fire started.
