PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Computer problems are delaying passengers who are trying to leave Philadelphia International Airport on American Airlines flights.

The airline says it conducted a planned internet shutdown for computer maintenance overnight, but that the computers didn’t come back online as expected about 4 a.m. Wednesday.

That’s led to long lines for American passengers who are trying to check in for flights, and checking baggage.

Passengers are being checked in manually, but that’s taking longer than usual and is delaying the flights, some of them by two or three hours.
