PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say they believe a man made up a story that he had been carjacked with a child in his vehicle.

The pizza delivery driver told officers he was robbed by two men who took his vehicle around 10:15 p.m. Monday in the city’s Logan section. The man said a child was also in the car.

Police found the car, but there was no child in it.

Police say the man’s story kept changing and they believe he made everything up.

No charges have been filed.
