GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - A pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle as he was crossing a street in Glendale.

Police say 58-year-old Lawrence Massaro of Glendale died as a result of the collision early Monday morning.

Investigators say the driver in the one-vehicle accident remained at the scene, cooperated with officers and hasn’t been arrested in the case.

Glendale police say impairment doesn’t appear to be a factor in the collision.
