PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say a man tied up and gagged during a home invasion robbery in northeast Philadelphia was found by his brother almost two days later.

A police spokeswoman said the victim’s brother went to the Juniata Park home at about 5 p.m. Sunday and found him in the rear bedroom.

Police said the 53-year-old man was lying on the bed, tied up with electrical tape and plastic ties and gagged with a rag. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of bruises and a broken nose.

Investigators said two men followed the victim into the home through the garage just after 8 p.m. Friday. One was armed with a handgun. Police aren’t sure whether anything was taken.
