LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas firefighters battled a blaze at a vacant building near the downtown arts district.
KVVU-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2jHRHXD ) that fire crews responded Thursday to reports of the structure fire. The fire was mostly under control in about 30 minutes.
Fire officials say the building had been vacant for more than a year and was in the process of being demolished.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Authorities believe it was caused by squatters.
No injuries were reported.
