OLIVET, Mich. (AP) - Police have released the names of three people fatally injured in a one-vehicle crash on a mid-Michigan interstate.
The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that 63-year-old Kevin Haas of Linden, 66-year-old Kimberly Trasciatti of Howell, and 88-year-old Lorraine Haas of Hartland died from injuries they suffered in Saturday’s crash.
The sheriff’s office says Haas and the two women were relatives.
The Jackson Citizen Patriot reports (https://bit.ly/2kNIrS7 ) the pickup truck they were traveled in left an I-69 exit ramp early Saturday and crashed into a swampy, wooded area in Walton Township.
Two died at the scene and one was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
Police said Sunday that the cause of the crash about 25 miles southwest of Lansing remains under investigation.
