WALTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say three people have died after a one-vehicle crash on a mid-Michigan interstate.

Eaton County sheriff’s officials say a pickup truck with three people inside went off an I-69 exit ramp early Saturday and into a swampy, wooded area in Walton Township. Two people were ejected and died at the scene, and a third died later at a hospital.

Police haven’t released the victims’ names.

The crash happened about 25 miles southwest of Lansing.
