CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Charlotte police are investigating after a man has been shot to death in the southern part of the city.

Police spokesman Keith R. Trietley said in a news release that officers were called about a shooting shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Trietley says the victim was 58-year-old David B. Eadie. He died at the scene.



Police said witnesses noticed something suspicious in the area just before Eadie was shot.

No arrests have been made.
