CHERRY HILL, N.J. (AP) - Seven couples at a New Jersey assisted living center married 55 years or longer celebrated Valentine’s Day by renewing their wedding vows.
KYW-TV reports (https://cbsloc.al/2lQ1FaP ) Spring Hills Assisted Living in Cherry Hill had a ceremony for the couples, complete with bouquets and boutonnieres and clinking wine glasses for the toast.
One couple, Eugene and Mildred Venuto, got a special shout-out for their 66-year marriage.
After a blessing, the couples restated their vows, and kisses sealed the deal all over again.
One man says the key to a long-lasting marriage is “respect, and true love.”
