Man on skateboard injured in hit-and-run has died

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say 21-year-old Tucson man has died over a week after a car struck him and fled.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says Michael Hartman died on Thursday night. He was struck on Feb. 1 while on his skateboard in the city’s southeast side.

The driver of what police say is a gold or tan mid-2000s Toyota Corolla fled.

The car has front-end and windshield damage.

Police say they are still looking for the suspect.
