SCITUATE, R.I. (AP) - Authorities are seeking information about a fatal hit-and-run in Scituate.
Police say a person who had been struck by a vehicle was found on Plainfield Pike Friday evening. Police say the vehicle had left the scene.
No further details were provided and police did not immediately identify the victim.
Police are encouraging anyone with information about the vehicle or the driver to contact authorities.
