FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a trooper’s squad car was struck in a collision on icy Interstate 29 in Fargo.

According to the patrol, the trooper was investigating a crash Thursday morning just north of the Main Avenue Exit and was stopped with his emergency lights activated when the driver of a car lost control and struck the back of the squad car.

The freeway was slippery at the time. KFGO-AM reports no one was hurt.
