COLUMBIA, La. (AP) - Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a deadly fire at a home in north Louisiana last Friday.

The state fire marshal’s office said in a news release Wednesday that firefighters found the body of 48-year-old Rebecca Dianne Baugh after they entered the home in Columbia.

The release says an autopsy indicates the woman died from smoke inhalation.

The fire marshal’s office says the home didn’t have any functioning smoke alarms.
