PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A pedestrian killed in a crash in northeast Portland has been identified as 60-year-old Elizabeth Meyers.

The Portland Police Bureau says the death is the 50th traffic fatality investigated by the agency this year. That’s six more traffic deaths than in 2016.

The driver of the Toyota Camry remained at the scene Wednesday. Investigators don’t believe the motorist was distracted or impaired.
