CLOSTER, N.J. (AP) - A luxury movie theater will open in northern New Jersey in the new year.
The Record reports CMX Cinemas has planned to open a dine-in movie theater in Closter Plaza in the coming months. CMX is owned by the Mexico-based company Cinemex. The theaters offer reclining seats, gourmet dining and bar seating in their locations around the world.
According to borough clerk Loretta Castano, the company has applied for a liquor license.
CMX Cinemas will join the likes of Target and Whole Foods at Closter Plaza. The shopping center saw a revitalization effort in 2012 when it was purchased by commercial developer Edens Inc.
