CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Authorities have deemed the apartment fire that killed a 64-year-old man in South Carolina suspicious.
News outlets report that Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler said in a release that Charles Daniels was pulled from the fire in Conway on Sunday and transported to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia, where he died.
A Horry County police report says fire officials asked police to investigate the “suspicious fire.”
No cause has been determined.
