CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - A man has died from injuries suffered in a fire at his South Carolina apartment.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler told local media that 64-year-old Charles Daniels of Conway was pulled from a fire in an apartment around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Fowler said Daniels was taken to Conway Medical Center and then was transferred to the Augusta Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia where he died.
Fowler said the fire appears to be an accident but Horry County Fire Rescue and Horry County police are still investigating.
