GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Officials say a disabled woman has died in a house fire in North Carolina.

The News & Record of Greensboro reports firefighters responding to a fire around 11:30 a.m. on Monday found flames coming out of the windows in the front and back of the house.

Spokesman Dwayne Church said firefighters found the unidentified woman’s body in a bedroom.



The age and disability of the victim weren’t immediately released.

Both the fire and death are under investigation. Police haven’t determined how the woman died, and they haven’t described the woman’s disability.
