NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Two Connecticut state troopers were among five people injured in a crash involving six vehicles in North Haven.
State Police say the crash happened Sunday afternoon on Route 15, after a Toyota Camry stopped suddenly in the left lane. A police report says two state police cruisers behind it managed to stop, and activated their emergency lights.
But a vehicle behind the cruisers was struck from behind, setting off a chain reaction that ended up with six cars being struck, including the two police cruisers.
All but one of the drivers was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
