LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas say a motorcyclist is in critical condition after crashing into a parked car.

Metropolitan Police Department officers responded about 4 p.m. Saturday to reports of the crash near Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway.

Officers say a 29-year-old man crashed into a parked, unoccupied sedan after he apparently lost control of the motorcycle.

The man remains hospitalized in critical condition.

His name hasn’t been released.

Police say the man wasn’t wearing a helmet, which contributed to his injuries.
