ASHBURN — Redskins linebacker Zach Brown will miss Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals with a slew of lower body injuries.

Brown was listed with Achilles, ankle, toe and hip injuries. The linebacker hasn’t missed a game this season, but has been dealing with an ongoing Achilles injury for the last month. He initially left the Redskins’ loss in Week 10 to the Minnesota Vikings in a walking-boot.

After being carted off during last week’s loss against the Los Angeles Chargers, Brown did not practice this week.

Brown leads the NFL in tackles, and his absence adds another injury at linebacker. The Redskins have lost Will Compton and Mason Foster this season.

Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Martrell Spaight and Zach Vigil will start at linebacker. Josh Harvey-Clemons and Otha Peters will be the backups. Peters was signed to the active roster on Tuesday.

“Obviously Zach Brown is a great player for us and he’s been very productive, but we’ve got some guys here,” Vigil said. “We know what we’re doing this week. We have a good game plan and our biggest thing is going to be communicating and executing.”

Rookie safety Montae Nicholson (concussion) will also miss his fourth straight game.

Redskins tackles Morgan Moss (ankle) and Trent Williams (knee), linebacker Ryan Anderson (ankle), wideouts Ryan Grant (ankle) and Maurice Harris (concussion), defensive lineman Terrell McClain (toe) and canter Chase Roullier (hand) were listed as questionable.
