TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Light snow that is slowing the morning commute across New Jersey is nearing an end.
Most of the state received about an inch Thursday, but that was enough to make for slippery driving conditions. The New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway imposed speed restrictions.
There was not enough snow to plow and most highways that were treated with brine or salt were clear. However, sidewalks may have a coating.
Some schools delayed opening.
Unlike Wednesday, there was less wind and temperatures increased.
