PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a pregnant woman has died from injuries suffered when the vehicle she was driving collided with a light pole in west Phoenix as she was trying to pass another vehicle.
Phoenix police say 39-year-old Anna Ruth Garcia Flores later died at a hospital from the injuries she suffered in the one-vehicle collision early Sunday.
Her child didn’t survive.
A man who was a passenger in the vehicle suffered injuries that weren’t threatening his life.
