BOSTON (AP) - Authorities say no one was hurt when multiple manholes caught fire and exploded in Boston.

City fire officials say crews responded to the city’s Brighton neighborhood on Sunday morning for a report of a manhole explosion. Five Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority manholes were on fire, three of which exploded.

No injuries have been reported.



Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire and explosion.
