PHOENIX (AP) - Firefighters performed a complicated rescue overnight as they used ropes and a harness to get a hiker off a very steep part of Camelback Mountain in east Phoenix.

Phoenix fire Capt. Larry Subervi says Phoenix and Tempe firefighters lowered a firefighter to the hiker’s location, the firefighter placed her in a harness and then the hiker was lowered to a safe location.

No injuries were reported.
