ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - A Colorado sheriff says there will be no questions asked if a stolen bike gifted to his wife by former professional cyclist Lance Armstrong is returned.

The Aspen Times reports (https://bit.ly/2iKOewc ) the bike was stolen from Pitkin County Sheriff Joe DiSalvo’s front porch earlier this month. DiSalvo says Armstrong had given his wife Marcy a refurbished bike that he had received for a 2005 Tour of Hope ride from San Diego to Washington, D.C. He estimates the bike is worth between $5,000 and $10,000.

DiSalvo says a bike mechanic had left the yellow-colored bike at his front porch Aug. 18 after tuning it up. According to his wife, the thief did not steal anything else.
