BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Public Service Commission has rescheduled a public hearing in Ashley regarding the Merricourt Wind Power Project in Dickey and McIntosh Counties.

The hearing on a proposal to amend the project’s permit initially was scheduled for June 28 but had to be postponed.

It’s now been rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 13. It’s to begin at 10:30 a.m. Central time in Ashley City Hall.



EDF Renewable Development Inc. wants to revise its site plan for the proposed 75-turbine, 150-megawatt wind farm, following coordination with the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service to reduce the risk for whooping cranes and piping plovers.
