STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say a man was shot to death in Mississippi.
News outlets quote Oktibbeha County Coroner Michael Hunt as saying that 20-year-old Deontay Rogers was fatally shot at the Brookville Gardens Apartments in Starkville on Thursday night.
Starkville Police Chief Frank Nichols says one person was taken into custody in connection with the slaying.
