MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (AP) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a hit and run death on a rural highway.
Lance Cpl. Matt Southern told local media outlets that one person died after being hit by a vehicle shortly before midnight Tuesday in Berkeley County.
The name of the victim in the crash in Moncks Corner has not yet been released.
Troopers have not yet determined what type of vehicle was involved.
