RENO, Nev. (AP) - The Reno Fire Department says emergency crews pulled out two kayakers from the Truckee River after a woman’s kayak flipped over.

KTVN-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2wqtpMo ) emergency crews rescued a man and woman who were stuck on a rock in the Truckee River Sunday night. Officials say the woman had been pinned to a rock after her kayak flipped over. Both kayakers had not been wearing life jackets.

Members of the Water Entry Team were able to reach the two by foot and walk them over to the shore.



Authorities say the pair was not injured. The kayaks were also recovered.
