WASILLA, Alaska (AP) - A 10-year-old boy has died in what Alaska State Troopers say is a suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.

Troopers shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday took a call about the possible poisoning at a home southwest of Wasilla.

The boy was found dead in his room.

Two other people in the home were transported by emergency medical responders to Mat-Su Regional Hospital for treatment.

Troopers say their injuries were not life-threatening.

Troopers say their preliminary investigation revealed a propane-powered appliance at the home that had an exhaust leak.
