JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say strong winds partially collapsed the main tent at a Pennsylvania festival over the weekend, causing some injuries, but no serious injuries were reported.
The damage caused between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday prompted cancellation of remaining activities of Richland Community Days in Johnstown, but organizers said a fireworks show had been rescheduled for 9 p.m. Sunday.
Cambria County emergency services said at least two people were injured. WJAC-TV reported that seven people were injured, two of them taken to hospitals.
Event co-chairperson Jim Miliauskas said there were no major injuries. He said security enacted its evacuation plan for the first time in the 10-year history of the festival.
