Mother, 2 children killed in apartment fire

HILLENDALE, Md. (AP) - A mother and her two small children have died after a fire overnight in Hillendale, Maryland.

Baltimore County fire officials said the fire was reported just after 4:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Three victims were pulled from the third floor apartment by firefighters.

Elise Armacost, a spokeswoman for the Baltimore County Fire Department, confirmed the three deaths.

The victims have been identified as 26-year-old Bra Angah-McCray, 4-year-old Aimee McCray and 3-year-old Adriel McCray.

The mother and one child were transported to the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center. The other child was taken to Greater Baltimore Medical Center. All three were pronounced dead at the hospitals.
