Officials: Expect delays on Route 4 in Mendon

MENDON, Vt. (AP) - Vermont transportation officials are advising motorists of construction delays along U.S. Route 4.

The Rutland Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2uW5EYp ) Route 4 will have one-lane alternating traffic from the Rutland Town line to Mendon, Friday to Wednesday. Workers are finishing a paving project and repairing guardrails.

Crews are also working to complete an unfinished section of the Route 4 project on the Killington Flat by Aug. 25.
