NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A New Orleans man will spend more than eight years in federal custody on methamphetamine charges.
Federal prosecutors said in a Wednesday news release that 47-year-old Robert Case was sentenced to eight years and four months. He had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Prosecutors said Case was arrested on Jan. 9, 2015, after a United States Postal inspector intercepted two packages containing meth. That led to a search of Case’s apartment.
