2 people rescued after truck crashes into Washoe Lake

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Nevada officials say two people were rescued after they crashed their truck into a lake south of Reno.

KTVN-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2wXkbUg ) the Truckee Meadow Fire Protection District sent out a photo out on Twitter Saturday showing two people being rescued as a truck was almost completely submerged in Washoe Lake. Officials say the pair suffered minor injuries. The truck was later taken out of the lake.

As of Sunday, the cause of the crash was unknown.
