JUPITER, Fla. (AP) - A woman has died after scuba diving off Florida’s Atlantic coast.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Deputy Eric Davis said in a Palm Beach Post report that the woman was diving Saturday morning with a crew from the Jupiter Dive Center when she began to suffer a complication.
Davis said a sheriff’s office marine unit and a private vessel responded to the dive crew’s distress call.
The woman was rushed to shore. She was pronounced dead at a hospital. Her name has not been released.
The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
