Suspected drunk driver hits Milwaukee officer’s squad car

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Authorities say a Milwaukee police officer has suffered minor injuries after a suspected drunk driver hit his squad car.

WISN-TV reports that the officer was responding to a different single-vehicle crash late Friday when the incident occurred. Police say the drunk driver disregarded traffic cones and hit the officer’s vehicle, causing significant front-end damage.

The officer received treatment for minor injuries.
