PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Police in Rhode Island have identified a woman who was struck and killed by a garbage truck.
Providence police say 51-year-old Migdalia Gonzalez was crossing a street Wednesday when she was hit by the truck as it turned left.
Police said Thursday the crash is still under investigation. No charges have been filed.
The name of the truck driver has not been released.
