NEW YORK (AP) - Police in New York City say a jogger has died after being struck by a car.

According to the New York Police Department, a 36-year-old man who was jogging in the Far Rockaway section of Queens was struck by a car as he entered a crosswalk late Thursday. The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Police say the 32-year-old woman who was driving the car has been taken into custody. According to police, charges are pending.



Police haven’t released the name of the victim.
