LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees has appointed its first associate vice provost for enrollment management.
KTWO-AM reports (https://bit.ly/2hO2LXh ) Kyle Moore will assume his new duties on August 23. Moore’s responsibilities will include overseeing enrollment management functions, such as admissions, the registrar and scholarships and financial aid.
University spokesman Chad Baldwin says the position was created because increasing enrollment is a top priority for university President Laurie Nichols and was laid out in the strategic plan released earlier this year. Also, the departments Moore will oversee were recently moved from the Department of Student Affairs to the Department of Academic Affairs beneath Provost Kate Miller, who needs an administrator to oversee the departments.
