FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a student at a Flagstaff middle school is facing punishment after posting notes around campus saying someone should bomb the school.

The Arizona Daily Sun reports (https://bit.ly/2oPvM7C) police Sgt. Cory Runge says the Sinagua Middle School student won’t face criminal charges but will be “held accountable for her actions.”

Police say the notes discovered Tuesday didn’t make any specific threats but they did mention two teachers, the after-school detention program and that the school should be bombed.

Officers used surveillance footage and talked with staff to narrow down a suspect.

Police says the girl admitted to leaving the notes because she was upset about getting after-school detention.

Police have consulted with the Coconino County Attorney’s Office and determined no crime was committed.
