BENSON, N.C. (AP) - A man has died after his caught fire during a crash on Interstate 95 near Benson.

Authorities tell WRAL-TV (https://bit.ly/2oDWAo2) that a Buick driven by a 66-year-old Maryland man was traveling northbound on I-95 when it left the road and went up an embankment.

The driver was trapped inside the burning car. Three people pulled the unconscious man out and began CPR.

Troopers say they don’t know what caused the accident.
