LONG PINE, Neb. (AP) - Birders are invited to Keller Park State Recreation Area in north-central Nebraska for a birding day May 16.
Flights of birders will depart from the picnic shelter at 5 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Coffee and rolls will be served at 9 a.m. and a lunch will be served at noon for a small fee.
The recreation area sits along U.S. Highway 183, 3 miles (5 kilometers) west and 9 miles (14 kilometers) north of Long Pine, in Brown County.
