BOSTON (AP) - The suspect in the slaying of an artist whose decomposing body was found in his Everett apartment has been charged with a murder in Lynn.
The Essex District Attorney’s Office says 47-year-old David Grossack was arraigned in Lynn District Court Monday and ordered held without bail.
That murder charge stems from the death of Kathleen Burgess. Her body was found decomposing in her apartment Dec. 29. The 56-year-old’s daughter told officers Grossack was her mother’s boyfriend.
In March, Grossack was charged with killing Francis Brescia, a formerly homeless man who had become an accomplished artist.
Brescia’s body was found Feb. 25.
Prosecutors in Essex say Grossack provided information to police last week that led them to seek a warrant for Burgess’ murder.
Grossack’s attorney couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
