KENSINGTON, Md. (AP) - Officials say a small bus hit a group home in Maryland.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services spokesman Pete Piringer said in a tweet that the bus hit the home Tuesday.

Officials say two passengers on the bus and one resident of the house were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Piringer says six residents have been displaced as a result of the collision. A building inspector will evaluate the house, but damage did not seem extensive.

Information on the cause of the crash has not been released.
