BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - One person is dead and two others have been injured in a fiery SUV crash in Adams County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 32-year-old driver was apparently distracted and hit a ditch near Highway 8 Sunday about 4 p.m. The driver, identified as Brad Delzer of Bismarck, was thrown from the vehicle and killed as it rolled over and caught fire.

WDAY-TV reports a passenger who was also ejected and another who was rescued from the burning sport utility vehicle were taken to the hospital. There’s no immediate word on their condition.
